Grassroots Response and Covid-19

Women's Empowerment Center in Jaranwalla, Pakistan is taking action during these hard times of Corona virus. The village has needed face masks for preventive measures. Al Bari Welfare Association volunteers decided to use their tailoring skills to make homemade masks for the village community. This initiative was very much welcomed and appreciated by the locals. Friends of Pakistan USA partnered with Al Bari over a two year period to establish the Women’s Empowerment Center and leadership training for village women.
