Covid-19 Response in Pakistan

Friends Welfare Association (FWA) in Mansehra District received financial support from Friends of Pakistan USA to purchase locally available personal protective equipment (PPE). FWA is a long-standing partner in our scholarship program. Javed Iqbal, Director, recently reported that the health clinics in their area had been shut down due to an inadequate supply of protective gear. Members of the clinic staff had already become infected. Our help allowed the clinic to reopen and identify and quarantine patients.
