Who we are:

pakistan-holding-signFriends of Pakistan USA is a group of Returned Peace Corps  Volunteers who served in Pakistan, along with Peace Corps support staff, friends, and all people interested in fostering understanding and good relations with the people of Pakistan.

Our Purpose:

  1. To promote friendly relations and better understanding between the people of Pakistan and the people of the United States of America.
  2. To advance education in Pakistan by donations in cash and in kind to proper educational institutions.
  3. To provide emergency assistance when natural disasters like earthquakes and floods occur and to support refugee, relief and recovery efforts.

Members of Friends of Pakistan USA elect the Board and vote on the projects. Members, also, receive regular Updates about projects and invitations for special events like visiting delegations from Pakistan. Become a member by paying an annual $15 Membership Fee.

FOPUSA is an all volunteer organization. Office expenses of maintaining the website, postal mailings and other incidentals are covered by membership fees. There is no staff overhead.

Friends of Pakistan USA is a registered 501(c)3 organization. All donations are tax deductible.
